Kikyo
The stern yet loving priestess Kikyo originates from the universe InuYasha. She was a reserved woman in her younger years as she used her impressive spiritual energy and intelligence to guard the Jewel of the Four Souls as a Shinto priestess. While the young woman had slain many opponents, she could not muster the ability to kill Inuyasha, a part-human, part-dog demon, who began to relate with the priestess. Small conversations turned into a heated affair as the two began to fall in love with another. Kikyo then proposed that he should use the jewel to turn him into a full human, as opposed to his original idea of turning himself into a full-demon. He agreed, for his desire to live a life with Kikyo was strong.The following day, Kikyo awaited Inuyasha with the jewel, but she was ultimately attack by Naraku, a demon who disguised himself as Inuyasha. Injured, she made her way to her village, only to find that Inuyasha had already attacked the village and was escaping with the Shikon. Utilizing her last strength, Kikyo used a magic bow to seal Inuyasha to a tree. She died moments later, and the jewel was burned with her body.
Kogame, a fifteen year old teeanger who began to travel with Inuyasha, is Kikyo's reincarnation. Inside of Kagome's body lies the Jewel of the Four Souls due to the fact that Kikyo was burned with the jewel after she died.
Fifty years after her death, Kikyo's ashes were stolen, and she was revived by Urasue, who she killed shortly after her. She went on to attack Inuyasha, and after fleeing, her heart continued to harbor hatred for the man who "had betrayed her".
Kikyo is brought into the Riyona Village shortly before she finds and attacks Naraku, and the first person she encounters is Vincent Valentine. The two venture to the Riyona Village where they meet two siblings named Miyo and Kohana. Hoping to find a life of true happiness in Riyona, Kikyo makes the most of her new life in this strange, new village.
